This site asks for very little: your role, your name and your email address when you register for early access — and, if you use a payment calculator and ask for a copy of the result, your answers to its questions. We use them to do what you asked and to tell you when eSiteOffice opens. We don’t sell them, rent them, or pass them to anyone selling you anything.
What we collect, and why
- Your role — builder, trade, owner-builder, owner or strata — so the emails we send you are about your side of the contract, not someone else’s.
- Your name — so our emails address you properly. Nothing more.
- Your email address — so we can confirm you’re on the early-access list, send you a small number of emails about eSiteOffice and new guides, and tell you when it opens.
- Which page you registered on — so we know which guides are useful. It isn’t used to profile you.
- Your answers to a payment calculator. When you use one, the answers you give (such as the date a claim was received, the type of contract and, if you enter them, the amounts) are sent to our app to work out the dates. If you ask us to email you a copy, we also take your name and email address, send you the result as a PDF, and keep your answers so the link in that email can bring them back.
- Anonymous page counts. We count page views with Vercel Analytics — no cookies, no cross-site tracking, and no way to identify you. It tells us how many people read a guide and which website or search sent them, in aggregate. That’s the only measurement on this site: no advertising network, no profiling.
What we send you
An email confirming you’re on the early-access list, then a small number of emails about eSiteOffice, new guides for your role, and when it opens. If you asked for a calculator result, that email too. Every email has an unsubscribe link that works immediately, and using it stops everything — we don’t keep a separate list you’d have to escape twice.
Server logs
Our hosting provider keeps ordinary technical logs — the requesting IP address, the page, the time — to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We may also record which website or search referred you, in aggregate, so we know which guides are worth writing. We don’t use either to build a profile of you.
Who else can see it
Only the services that host the site and the app, and the service that sends our email on our behalf — and only so they can do that job. We don’t sell or rent personal information, and we don’t provide it to anyone for their own marketing. If we’re ever legally compelled to disclose something, we’ll comply — that’s the only other case.
Where it’s kept, and for how long
On systems we control or that our hosting and email providers operate for us. If you unsubscribe and ask us to delete your details, we will — apart from the minimum record needed to make sure we don’t email you again by accident.
Access, correction and complaints
Email hello@esiteoffice.com to see what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or raise a concern. We’ll respond. If you aren’t satisfied with how we’ve handled a privacy complaint, you can take it to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

If we start collecting anything beyond what’s described above, this page will say so before we do it, and the date at the top will change.
